Live @ 5:30 Friday

Wondering why you can only watch Olympic events, even long after they've occurred, when the CBC decides you can? Are they not in the realm of 'news'? Tune in to hear the crazy restrictions set out by the IOC...

Video Gaming as a career? Oh, let my teen sons' hearts be still...

You did great!

You seem much more relaxed in front of the camera now.

As for The Mother Corp, its no worse than Rogers feeling that I should watch ping pong and beach volleyball instead of NASCAR. Or the CRTC deeming that I need to see that crazy Lilydale Dude (have you seen his eyes? he is psycho)instead of the Cougars chasing Kasey Kane.

...a satellite dish is looking more attractive all the time...

Lorraine: You were great. A very fitting replacement in Donna's absence. The two of you are gorgeous women with the intelligence to match. Don't twist that around either. It is a sincere compliment. Well done!

AS for the CBC, what can we say for a country that is leaning more and more each day to Socialism? Democracy anymore in this country is the right to vote and after you vote, shut up. We are now in control. We the elected officals now run the show, and oh what a show it is. Under the Big Top, a circus at best. CBC should be sent out to pasture at a million dollars a month to operate. What do we get? Crap for our tax dollars, a total waste of taxpayers money. CBC solution to the fall line up, two dinosaurs with Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. What do I expect when the ones in charge are so far out of touch with reality, the invention of the car is startling to them.
Enough said. As you can see, I am not a big fan of CBC. It is a dinosaur also. There is a lot in common with Wheel and Jeopardy.

Great shows Lorraine, that is all that matters.

Concerning the show format, what's with the split screen? Aren't you and Mark in the same studio, if not sitting right next to each other from the bank of monitors in the background?

We're in the same studio, but Mark sits out front, I'm behind in the glass production booth. For technical reasons (sound stuff, apparently) everyone, including guests, are kind of sectioned off.

The split screen let's us pretend...
