BP Brings the BS

Did you read like I did the other day that the Gulf oil spill is 'over'? That everything is fine, and the damage is far less then originally thought?

Sure you did. We were supposed to read that.

What you weren't supposed to read was this.

Yes, it's long. But here's the journalism and reporting everyone says is missing these days. Excellent piece.

Oy Vey. That is one long article. But crushingly detailed and, worse yet, accurate. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We are boycotting all things BP.

Don't know why, but this reminded me of the earthquake her in Sourthern Ontario a couple months back. I asked our 16 year old daughter if she wanted to go for a swim in the pool as it was a warm day. "No," she said, "there might be a tsunami."

BP has created the tsunami of all oil spills.

Yep. Read it all off (I think) a Fark post. In-depth, not hysterical, basically straight-forward and pragmatic.

I started covering pollution stories in the 60s in Sarnia's petrochemical valley. Didn't quit pushing the agenda until I quit the job.

I'd've been proud to slot that piece into the paper as a four-part series.
