Thanks, Janie...

Oh, geez, this is brilliant. Just forwarded from my friend, who thankfully can send attachments on her blackberry, unlike moi who turns on an iPhone and the microwave starts spinning...

From the Daily Mash-Up. You really have to read it. That arse in Florida really needs a kicking.

That was short and sweeet. I have my 911 black out kit ready for the big day. How can someone that dumb and bigoted be a church leader, oh wait a minute, he's a bit over qualified, no?

It makes me feel smart when I've already read one of your linked atrocities.

Aparently the arse in Florida has changed his mind but I fear that will not be the end of the story. This kind of stupidity will have more than 15 minutes of fame.

It's Lorraine. I'm logged out.

Apparently, 30% of his 'followers' threatened to leave. It's always about the cash, it seems.

So how come some of these other 'churches' don't have 30% of their followers threaten to leave when the leader marries their preteen daughters???

Oh, I'm getting stroppy tonight....

Where's the funny? I grew up on Mad and National Lampoon and later, Frank. I know satire. That link was lame.

To play devils advocate: In a country that has freedom of speech/expression enshrined in it's Bill of Rights/Constitution why should the burning of anything be considered anything less than a lawful protest?

The media is always willing to show scenes of a mob burning/stepping on and otherwise profaning the American Flag which many Americans hold as dear to them as others hold the Q'uran. So why is turnabout not fairplay?
