Reliving Those Fabulous High School Years...

For someone who was pretty much a dweeb in high school, I opened this note from one of my favourite readers, R.L. Parker, with interest.

How Cool Were You In High School? it asks.

Well, I totally had to take this quiz. I'm over it. I can live with hearing the truth. I'm a big girl.

Bet you send this to a dozen people;)

"Delightfully tacky,yet unrefined."
High School was all about having fun and exploring life beyond four walls. Some people can make it a real drag. Square headed people trying to fit in round holes, triangular headed people trying to be rectangles. Hammerheads looking for nails to hit. Screws looking for walls to drive into. Only to learn they were tools used by society."twenty years of schoolin' and they put you on the day shift. Watch out kid, they keep it hid."

I sent this to someone I hadn't talked to in a year and we were emailing back and forth when the dreaded Sympatico decided there was too much backing and forthing on my email and it looked suspicious and shut me down. I followed the link to fix it and couldn't remember my password which I eventually did on the 3rd try only to be locked out for trying too many times. I then spoke (via Bell Chat) to my good friend Mohammed in India who advised, after an hour of tinkering in my computer while I watched (freaky) that he would send me the code to unlock it to my cell phone via text message. Only problem, I don't have a texting plan. After pondering this, my gfM advised that it would take 48 hours to fix as he had to escalate. Not bad considering my Sympatico has been down 48 hours this week already. I'm self employed. I rely on email to do business. I hate Bell.

Oh, and by the way Lorraine, thanks for sending me that stellar joke.
