Square Off - Tuesday

Should you let your underage kids drink at home?

I've already addressed this in Blame it on Lorraine, so my take won't be all that mysterious to you.

But calling other people out on their parenting is always fun.

Join us at 5:30 on CHCH Square Off.

This is done in Europe and it removes the pent up allure and mystery of booze when they reach teen age. There 's no reason why responsible parents couldn't introduce wine served in appropriate sized glasses. I love Italy where you can walk into almost any streetside store and guzzle your favorite red wine. The trip to Tuscany was a delicious blur.

I was in Milan (Italy) over Y2K (remember that?) and the only thing open on January 1 was a McDonald's. That's the last Big Mac I've ever had but I had it with a glass of red wine (OK... there were a few Italian beer in there two. But somehow it seems classier with wine.)

I love Europe.
