Square Off - Monday

Is there anything more painful than watching our Prime Minister pretending to be one of the great unwashed? Whether it's a dorky western vest, a native headdress or a turban - this guy really needs to get a clue, and get a smile on his face.

Join me at CHCH in the final segment. Mark and I love to argue.

One of the disadvantages of multicult. The other is having to scarf your way through pirogies, sushi, hot tamales, goulash, dim sum, lasagna, gefilte fish, and curried goat, all in the same afternoon just to get the ethnic vote. Not to mention poutine or fish and chips. It's why Alka-Seltzer was invented.

I don't buy a politician's multicultural idealist celebration stuff. If multiculturalism was so hot, there wouldn't have been a tower of Babel, any concept of nations and borders oh and wars? they wouldn't exist, right? After all, everybody gets along and respects each other's beliefs... Nonsense! Real multicultural enthusiasts can appreciate, understand respect and interact without resorting to donning native garb for the sake of a picture. Remember Premier Peterson when he was asked why he put on a native headgear.."I do this regularly..." THAT's what I dislike, rank opportunism.
